The Checkered Crochet-A-Long

The time has finally arrived! The Checkered Crochet-A-Long is here and I can’t wait to create some checkered goodness with a group full of of fun and support!

There are two ways to participate – email or Instagram chat group. You can choose just one or choose both! Emails will be sent once per week and the Instagram chat group will be for ongoing, interactive support! We’ll break the projects down over four weeks so you know exactly what you should be working on and when over the course of the project! Week One: Pick your Project!
We’ll pick our patterns (discounts included!), grab our yarn and get started on the main panel of our projects.

Week Two: Checkers, Checkers, Checkers!
The checkers continue! We’ll finish the main panel and move on to the front panels!

Week Three: Sleeve City
Checkers are through but now it’s sleeve city! We’ll work on adding sleeves this week.

Week Four: Edging and Ends
To finish things up, we’ll work on the edging and then weave those ends! Yes…we WILL weave our ends as part of the plan. The feeling of having a fully finished wearable will be 100% worth it!

There are a LOT of options when it comes to the checkered CAL. Make a baby size or a child size! Make a vest or a cardigan! Make an OG pattern or a modification pattern! Here’s a “choose your adventure” schematic so you know what all is involved!
