BLOCK ONE: The Loop Stitch
Block One in our Stitchwork Scarf is the loop stitch. This is a textured stitch with loops coming off the front of the work giving a fun and whimsical look to your work!

The odd numbered rows are right-side up with the front of the work facing you and the even numbered rows are wrong-side up with the back of the work facing you. Loop stitch is worked on the even numbered rows so the loops are on the front of the work.
If you need step-by-step directions for this stitch, see this tutorial for more help! OR if you prefer a video tutorial, check out this YouTube tutorial for Block One 🙂
